Rainbow Ice Cream

My granddaughters, Emma and Aya, decided to make some ice cream from a recipe that they found in a magazine. They did a great job!

For this you will need:

2 cups heavy cream
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1-1/2 tablespoons vanilla
15 drops birthday cake flavored syrup (or any other flavor of your choosing, we chose vanilla caramel creme)
pink, blue, yellow, and green food coloring
colorful sprinkles

In a large mixing bowl, whip heavy cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold in condensed milk and cake flavoring. Be careful not to over mix.

Separate the mixture evenly into 4 bowls. Tint one bowl with the pink fold coloring until you get your desired shade of pink. Do the same with the blue, green, and yellow.

Alternate spooning the colorful mixtures into a loaf pan. After all of the ice cream is in the pan, run a butter knife through the mixture in a figure eight pattern to swirl all of the colors together. Finish it off by adding sprinkles on top of the ice cream. Freeze for at least 3 hours before scooping yourself a bowl.
