Adding inventory means more sales and more income. However, adding more inventory also means more room needed to store it.
I have been so busy adding inventory to increase my sales, that I’ve neglected to pay much attention to where my inventory was. My daughter Sam has been bringing it down to our basement for me, and in all honesty, has been telling me for quite some time that “we’re running out of room.” But I kept buying.
Yesterday, there was a collapse. A pile of merchandise fell over into the floor. Today, I will spend trying to straighten and re-organize all the inventory into a more cohesive arrangement.
Last night my husband Errol and I made room on a wall for another wall of boxes, so that should help. I also have a few more empty totes that will help organize some of the bags of soft items.
Then maybe I can get the boxes piled in my living room taken care of!
Stay tuned to see how this all works out!
